Plain-English summary
An administrative law judge had affirmed a fall-protection violation and assessed a $1,000 penalty, and that decision became a final Commission order. Ovation Plumbing petitioned the Tenth Circuit for review. The court granted the parties’ joint request for a limited remand so their settlement could be considered. The Commission returned the case to the judge to review the settlement agreement and any objections under Commission Rule 100.
